WSIS 2016 to take place on May 02-06, 2016 in Geneva
The World Summit on the Information Society Forum 2016 is held on May 2-6, 2016 in Geneva, Switzerland. It represents the world's largest annual gathering of the ‘ICT for development’ community. The WSIS Forum 2016 is hosted by ITU and takes place at the ITU Headquarters.
The WSIS Forum, co-organized by ITU, UNESCO, UNDP and UNCTAD, has proven to be an efficient mechanism for coordination of multi-stakeholder implementation activities, information exchange, creation of knowledge, sharing of best practices and continues to provide assistance in developing multi-stakeholder and public/private partnerships to advance development goals.
Ambassador Daniel A. Sepulveda (USA) serves as Chairman of the WSIS Forum 2016 High-Level Track. The Policy Sessions are moderated by High-Level Track Facilitators (HLTF) nominated and identified by the following stakeholder types: Civil Society, Private Sector, Technical Community and Academia.

The Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus № 518 dated from July 12, 2017 made some additions and changes to the Rules for the telecommunication services provision and the Rules for the of lines, communication structures and radio communications protection in the Republic of Belarus.
