The meetings of the Working Groups of the RCC Commission on regulation of radiofrequency spectrum and satellite orbits were held in the Kyrgyz Republic

The meetings of the Working Groups of the RCC Commission on regulation of radiofrequency spectrum and satellite orbits were held on April 10-13 in Bishkek (the Kyrgyz Republic). The results of the meetings were considered during the final meeting of the Commission on April 14. Technical experts of the RCC Communications Administrations took part in the Working Groups. The representatives of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the International Union of Amateur Radio Region 1 and the RCC Executive Committee were among them.

EMC Laboratory specialists, who are members of the Working Group on preparation for the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-19) and the Radiocommunication Assembly (RA-19) and also the Working Group on regulation of the use of radiofrequency spectrum, took part in the meetings.  

WG WRC-19/RA-19 discussed the intermediate results of the research conducted in the ITU Radiocommunication Sector and other regional and international organizations. The coordinators presented their materials and the draft of the Preliminary Position of the RCC CAs on the agenda items for WRC-19 was updated.  

During the meetings, the WG considered the formation of RFS Common Table of Frequency Allocations of the RCC member countries and the work on the following reports drafts is continued:  «On the Radio Frequency Aspects of Applications the Internet  of Things (IoT)», «On the current and planned use of individual bands of radio frequencies in the range 24.25 GHz - 86 GHz, considered under agenda item 1.13 of WRC-19 in the RCC countries»,  «The radionavigation service spectrum protection  from interference to the radio signals reception from Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS)». The work plan of the WG on regulation of the use of radiofrequency spectrum includes the development of a new report on the future use of radio frequency bands by cellular communication technologies in the RCC member countries.

The WG on Broadcasting discussed the interaction of the RCC CAs with the coordination of analog TV stations after the end of the transition period, the development of methodological guidelines for the calculation of the district relief in the EMC calculation for cross-border coordination of frequency assignments to broadcasting stations, and a number of other issues related to this subject.
